Casa da Cancela

Located out of the slate built core of the village, it has a fountain on its outside wall that used to supply water for the village. This water is drawn from a bore-hole located on the mountain and it’s very pleasant to drink.

It has a large yard with fruit trees and more than enough space to cook outdoors. It also has central heating supplied by the fireplace and air conditioning.

Located on the Rua de Baixo, this house has a superb view over the mountain range from the first floor room.

Also located on the Rua de Baixo, this house is next to the Casa da Pífara. There is a yard with a grill that allows you to cook outdoors. From the first floor, there is a magnificent view of the mountain.

Located on the corner of the Rua de Baixo with the Largo do Pereiro.

Casa do Ferro

This house is located by the Casa da Travessa.

With a bold interior design, the bedroom is built using iron and has a view over the large living room on the ground floor, in an open space.
The outside access to the first floor is through a slate balcony, must characteristic of the typical construction of this region.

Casa do Forno

Located in the centre of the village, just by the community oven where, if you want, you can cook some local delicacies or just bake bread the old fashioned way. There is still available a big fireplace where you can cook in an iron stew pot.

Located between Largo do Pereiro and Largo do Forno. Its name derived from the passage that connects the two “Largos”. It has a small interior patio with street access. On the first floor there are 2 spacious bedrooms. The stairs are adapted for people with reduced mobility.
